My vote would go with alcohol and nicotine. Those are "legal" and, because of it, generally the least expensive and carry the least punitive consequences. DUIs, however, are expensive both in time, inconvenience, and financially.
Be smart. If you have to think twice, the answer should be "NO".

I wouldn't know the answer to the question but I'm always amazed at the number of people who believe that the only way to get through life is by using prescription drugs (encouraged by their trusted doctor) and/or alcohol and street drugs (encouraged by their trusted friends.)
A little research would provide many other ways to gain peace, happiness and a good night's sleep without injesting anything.
