    Why is my check 1/2 of what it was last week? This makes no sense, considering that unemployment is a consistent program. Where is the other money that I'm missing? Thank you!

    Look at the coverage dates for the payment verses the previous payment.  Check to see if you have depleted your claim and this is the final payment. 
     

    Does your state allow for internet access to your weekly claim information? If it does, you can find out a lot right from your computer. Did you claim earnings, or have money from your previous employer come your way for separation, or anything like that?
