Not magic. A little knowledge can wow the crowds very nicely. Time miracles then and now seem miraculous. Drugs, magic potions a thousand years ago could get you burned at the stake. What was demonic long ago is simple chemistry today. Misinformation is as robust today as ever before. 

"A Course in Miracles" is an on-line book that teaches all you will ever need to know here, about miracles. I have studied and sponsered many study groups about ACIM and I always found it interesting and enlightening.

That sounds more like a slur against people with an education.
