    PSIG is the pressure on the gauge, apposed to the Atmospheric pressure  (14.7 at sea level )


    PSIA is the total pressure on the gauge and the Atmospheric pressure


    PSIG + 1 atmosphere = PSIA


    PSIA - 1 atmosphere = PSIG


    The actual atmosphere measurement must be for the altitude at your location
