      8y + 6 = 6y


      or, 2y +6=0 [ subtracting 6y from both sides]


      or, 2y = -6 [ subtracting 6 on both sides]


      so, y = -3 [ dividing both sides by 2]

        2y=-6


        y= -6 /2


        y = -3
