The worlds oldest person, at age 114, is Mildred M. White of Atlant...........,never mind she just died!

Japan holds its elderly in very high esteem and has a higher proportion of elderly than any other country, they have 48,000 people over 100. They look after their elderly very well, that is something that we Europeans do very badly.
