I like nuts (explains why I am here) for munchies or potato crisps (we call them "chips").

For a real snack a sandwich with salad or salmon or cold meat. Left over cold lamb sandwiches are to die for, Australian lamb of course.Same applies to corned silverside Yum!

Sausage roll or Australias` gift to the world a genuine meat pie with full pastry none of this "bung the filling in a bowl and whack a piece of pastry on the top nonsense.

I want to eat that. I make apple cake, apple muffins. One of my favorite is apple pancake. I eat that many times instead of meat. It is delicious!Thanks Mel, for making my mouth water.

Apple cake w. crumbs on top. I always use half the sugar, the recipe calls for.

For Ann cant find the recipe for the apple crumble but i do have another recipe from mum

its called BREAD & BUTTER PUDDING

Greese dish with butter or margarine

cut slices of bread stale or fresh in to four (from one slice) butter them all then sprinkle them with sugar

start to layer them in the dish you are using and start sprikling Currents/sultanas fill the dish

if the dish is large mix 3 eggs with enough milk to cover the bread

bake in the oven for 3/4 of a hour on gas mark 3 then put the oven up to gas mark 5 for the quarter of hour so it will brown

sorry havnt got the conversions in electric its really good and such comfort food and really cheap to make xxx
