Turned out to be the most stressful and heartbreaking day of my life due to complications immediately after the birth of my son and due to a jealous, verbally/emotionally abusive husband who could not handle the fact that our sick baby and his frazzled/frightened wife were receiving more attention than him from the doctor and nurses at the hospital.

Started out as a typical day, ended with delivery of a 3 lb. 14 oz. baby who was 8 weeks premature. His first photo shows him in an isolette, on his way to the NICU of our excellent children's hospital. I wouldn't be able to hold him for 3 1/2 weeks. He's 31 now, with 6 healthy kids of his own. Thank God!
