You tell a guy you're a girl, but you're really a guy. That's deceiving. You tell your boyfriend, girlfriend, wife, husband that they are the only one, and they have 3 other people that they are stringing along on the side. That is deceiving. You make people think you are something that you know you are not. That's deceiving. Lying is deceiving. Making up a false resume is deceiving. Being honest is not deceiving. Being truthful is not deceiving. Being yourself is not deceiving. Lying to yourself is deceiving and thus you're tricking yourself. I like 'honesty is the best policy'.

i am sure everybody has told a lie. perhaps sometimes it is necessary. but i think we strive, even tho we don't always make it.
