The curious watch and movie lover that I am I picked up the phone and dialed the film's prop master Dean Eilertson to get the full story behind this link watch's inclusion in the film. He told me link that the watch was never in the script but that Reynolds pitched link the idea to director Shawn Levy and he loved it.
