      Are not, is two words so they do not apply to your question.

        "Are" comes first before "aren't" and "not" would come until much later under "N" .


        "Aren't" is a contraction and as such is not listed in proper dictionaries only contemporary usage dictionaries, like those that include words like "ain't" or "youse."
