I attend an auction every Monday.mainly Office furniture,goods & chattels.

House auctions can be good or bad depending on whether you are the buyer or the seller.

As a seller you have to pay for the auction whether you sell or not.(Usually),this fee can exceed $1000.(House auctions)

There is usually a buyers  premium of 10 to 12.5% added to the knock down price at any auction.
