    my previous job requiers me to solicit clients. after they terminated me I was told I cannot solicit my clients inroder to reestablish employment? the employer statd that i am under contract if though I have been terminated

    I am  tax preparer and just been terminated. My previous employer stated that i can not solicit my clients and I am still under contract.   I am trying to reestablish my tax profession. Is it legal for the employer to enforce a contract even after termination?
