      I had boiled peanuts down at the Alabama jubilee several years ago,,Yes there good, you want to eat them while there hot. I do think that it takes quite awhile to boil them though.

        The directions say boil for two hours...do they salt the water do ya think............?

        Wow Its hard to remember but yes I think the water had salt in it, then the old man dumped raw peanuts in That was in the morning and we couldn't get any for several hrs. But when we did go back they were really very good.

        I had them several years ago from a roadside vender in the blue ridge mountains, they were surprisingly really good. I'd make sure to get them fresh if you're gonna try em though.
