      If you are referring to menses, every women is different.  Some women reach menopause in their thirties, while others are still menstruating into their sixties.  The general cycle varies as well; some women have 21-day cycles, others may go six weeks or longer.  
      I kept a calendar of "first days" for several years, and saw MY pattern. It explained my changing mood and appetite variations.
