    i am a positive TB do i need an ex-ray

    Fifty yrs ago a reacted positive to a TB test..Do I need a new x-ray everytime I am required to have a TB test?

    Yes. Many test positive to TB and must take the ex-ray to determine if they really are.

    50 yrs ago? do you still have TB? Once you test positve for TB, the Dr. will also take an X ray. After that  they do a sputum test to see which medication you require. If you no longer have TB, than X rays are no longer required.
