It' not a communist country , i would say as many as they can support and then some..

if woman are lucky they can have quite a few in the USA and most of the world but its the up keep of supproting all the children they have in the UK they have pleanty and exspect the state to keep them then I dont agree I think you can have as many as you want but exspect the welfare to pay for the children as a tax payer I am supporting those children!

    Including cloned ones too?

As many as she can't care for! "" "Octomom"

The pill doesn't have a husband.

Whatever obama welfare will pay you to have. These kind of people know how to rake the system.

Don't we know it! Keep working so you can pay the bills of others!

There is a couple in Toowoomba (Australia) who have 16 kids & they intend to have more. They are doing very nicely too. They have a small bus for transportation & a nice house. All the kids seem happy & contented. So I guess the sky is the limit providing your health is good.

Is that near Yapoon? Just kidding, but there is such a place, near Brisbane, right?

Toowoomba is a thriving provincial city in the mountains west of Brisbane. It is Queenslands Garden city. The name comes from the aboriginal "The swamp".BTW, that's "Yepoon",if you are referring to the seaside resort near Rockhampton.Another beautiful place.

Yes that's it, we were on our way back up from Rockie, to Brissie. We stopped there and had meat pies from a bakery/store. They were good, not the "maggot bags" that the Aussie cousin, who we were visiting painted them as!

""As many as she and her husband want, 20.

yOU WERE A VERY PRITTY BABY EGGY,

Yeah, I'd say as many as you can afford....

Unfortunately, there don't seem to be limits. Years ago I worked in a family support office, and a "client" came in to add to her monthly allotment of "you owe me".  She was pregnant with her sixth child.  As I scanned the folder containing her "information", I noted the five kids she already had were 1/2 siblings to each other.

The interviewer was asking the standard questions. She came to the "Who's the father?" and I'll never forget that woman's reply.  And I quote, 35 years later, "I don't know what his name is. We didn't exchange names. That's not what we were interested in."

Then there is the Mormon family out in Utah who have 20 (19?) kids and another on the way. Apparently he is able to support the family without public assistance.

I have 3, and can't imagine NOT having the third one. He was, and is, the "frosting on my cake".

As many as she likes. She can also adopt children.

I don't think people should be limited to the number of children to be had. Number 3 or 4 could be the next Beethoven or Einstein.........

    Clonge

    ...or a Jeffrey Dahmer!

No woman should have more than two children. The world population is rising faster than its ability to feed the people. Unless an epidemic such as H5N1 arrives, as it almost certainly will,  future generations are doomed.

    agree totally

Umb,ordinary flu can infect half of humanity in a season and half of those who catch H5N1 die, and as the virus is mutating all the time, the implications are not hard to fathom (See New Scientist No 2849)

I think that they can have as many children as they want.

    moved.

90% of the global population resides on 1% of the land. There are more acres of land in Alaska than the global population. Go flying around your area and see for yourself how much open countryside there is and where homes are….usually near roads. We have about 30 acres per person in the United States. That’s a pretty big chunk of land. I reside near a road that goes through a vast wilderness. If you feel pressed by over-crowding go to places like this and bring your kids and a way to earn money also.

I figured once we were blessed with one of each gender, no need to continue, and we stopped.  I could have afforded more, however, we wanted to provide education, etc. as responsible parents.  If I didn't care, maybe I would have had more, however, coming from one of 6 siblings, I wanted more for my kids.
