    why would a washer make lots of banging noise when on spin cycle?

    It's not balanced, try shifting the stuff around in it............

    Probably because it,s over loaded and unbalanced.

    Stop having sex on it , it will soon disappear..

    Try the delicate cycle my wife loves it..

    it sounds like its unbalanced there are feet at the bottom of the washer and you can ajust them have a go before calling someone out also check you ahvnt overloaded the washer first

    Drum bearings. seal fail . More so in machines Hot-point  Zanussi.need a good DIY man.
