    I think by MAOI - it is here in the UK Monoamine Oxidase inhibitors - they are very strong drugs given for depression and other affective disorders - they interact with many other drugs but if Lexapro is an antidepressant in a different class it is not an MAOI amd would not be in this antidepressant group as fjoel says check with pharmacist and read instruction label which will tell you if it is an MAOI.
