My best suggestion would be to try your local city's craigslist....
Craigslist.com and be certain you are postng in your citiy or the closest one to you and post in the correct category as this will make it easier to find.
Also be reasonable in price, people using craigslist are looking for a bargain.
You might also try ebay classifieds, they are free as well and broken down by city.
Another Free classified ad site i know of that is growing quickly in population is here:
