when i start scan it gives message unable to locate scanning engine component please reinstall the correct version. my licence is valid upto 17 Aug 2012. but i am unable to scan anything.what should i do?

You must go to the website of the manufacturer and find and click on their support link. Then look for Downloads for the correct driver version for your scanner and download it. Instructions on how to install the driver software is normally with the download. Read it carefully.
