From zurich to grindelwald
It takes 2hrs 45 minutes by train from Zuerich main station to Grindelwald.
There are frequent trains. Some are direct to Interlaken Ost, other srequire a change in Bern.
I find the website of the German "Deutsche Bundesbahn" (https://www.bahn.de) the most useful. They'll give you the major trains, which you would want to take anyhow. You will find access to the English version by clicking "Englisch" in the upper left hand quadrant, below "Suchen".
