      The only one responsible for those damages and squirrels "bad behavior" is ...... mother !   Mother Nature . Talk to her and plead your case. LOL

        Didn't the landlords have a meeting with the town council and cancel "The Annual Squirrel Chasers Convention?  There's the problem!   Sue them.

          You have to find the chief squirel and have it out with him,  make him aware in no uncertain terms that you won't stand for it. Be careful though, they have a nasty bite.
