    Does anyone know what the root system is like for a Paulownia tomentosa tree, also known as Empress Tree, Sapphire Dragon or Powton

    It apparently grows to a height of 10 metres. I wondered how far away from the house should it be planted?

      This tree is known as a fast-growing and invasive species, so I would keep it as far from the house (and drains) as possible.
