    What were the major highways in the US in 1986?

    In 1986 we took a trip from Sneedville TN through Knoxville TN, Nashville, TN Memphis, TN Little Rock AR, Oklahoma City OK Wichta Falls TX Dallas TN Vicksburg MS Biloxi Ms Meridian MS Chattanooga TN back to Sneedville TN.  This was before most interstate highways in the USA.  I need to know what highways we would have traveled to go through these cities.

      Interstate I-40


      You were on I-40 most of the time. Its goes from the east coast to the west coast!
