    What does it mean when your eye doctor puts a plug in your eye?

    I recently had one put in on my last visit....Does it open up my tear duct?

      Your doctor did not explain to you what he was doing and why he did it? You might want to call him and ask him why he did it.

          I had plugs put in my tear ducts for Lasik  eye surgery.
