You don,t work for nothing do you? You should be paid for the hours you worked, unless there has been an agreement made between your employer and yourself prior to the holiday period.

    UK , Canada or Australia?

Most employers have a waiting period for holiday pay, usually 30-90 days. However if I wanted Boxing day pay they would LTAO   As in the USA we have no boxing day! It depends on where you are!
