Yes you can Unless you are on SSI because you are disabled and are not able to work. But if its because you retired then you can. SSI will make sure that your monthly earnings will stay the same .Its kind of a pain because you can only make so much a year. Many people take a few months off to keep thier income down. If your bored and thats why you want a job try volunteering. Much easier than trying to figure what SSI is gonna get you for.
