Your friends might be afraid that you are going to pull away from them to be with him! It's really hard to say why they are doing what they are, without knowing them as people. But, listen to them and what they have to say...it doesn't mean you have to let them dictate your life though. Life is full of lessons, and if this is one for you, you will learn more as you go through life. But, the thing is, we can only learn by allowing ourselves the chance to learn.

Perhaps your friends are able to see some things that you cannot. Pay attention to what they say and be more observant about him. There are more important qualities that he should have, besides his "cuteness"!!!!
