      I would not take a chance.  Get it renewed before you travel.  You should not have a problem but it's best to be safe rather than sorry.  The way things are in the world now, you want everything in order, just in case.

        You may have a problem. I booked an international trip a few years ago and was informed by the airline that my passport had to be good for at least six months past the planned return date.

          As long as you plan to return before expiry date, no problem, if not best to renew now.
