How do I type the symbols for "infinity" and superscripts and subscripts with none of these on my keyboard?

My keyboard is older.  I don't have a symbol for "infinity" nor superscripts (like 10 to the seventh power) or subscripts.  Can you help me?

I use ". . ." to reference something continuing infinitely.   "dot, dot, dot"
