    how far on a dogs nail do u clip or can u fjle them down

    Be very careful, watch for the quick, cut just below it. On black nails, try to look under the nail and get  an idea of where the quick ends. For $5 Petsmart will clip your dogs nails. Do not file them. If you do cut the quick get some flour and put it on the nail. The flour will coagulate the blood and stop the bleeding. 

    i have a teacup pomaraniam and would like to know how to clip his nails thats a pretty easy question and if cant be answered i dont need this web

    I answered this question before you left this snarky comment, did you bother to read it? What do you feel you need to be rude with people who volunteer their time to help others? You should know how to properly care for a dog before you get one.

    3 - 4 mm , Any  more &  the  dog's  nail's  will  BLEED !

    IT's a simple, truthful answer. Dog's have a vein in their nail's , So you have to be very careful Not to take to much of each time or you'll nick the Vein.
