1. Call your broker for an answer.
2. Get out your calculator and check each stock for the ending price on the day you want to value them. Multiply the value on that day by the number of shares you own. Add 'em all up and there ya go! (200 shares of Wal-Mart at $50.00 = portfolio value $10,000)
3. You'll get your statements at the end of the month...beginning of January. You can use those figures for a "fairly" accurate number.
