      I was in court 5 and 10 years ago and there was no bible presented........

        You know that is a very good question.  I myself would like to see prayer back in schools and all, but I am quite sure there are many here that will lamblast me for that but blast away it will not change my beliefs and faith in God.

            You are correct, one can "Affirm," but a Bible in generally on the Bench of the Judge who always was the Robe of piety
