    How Long after you kill a turkey can you cook and eat it.

    I want to kill our Turkey Saturday morning can I cook it that afternoon . Will it be tough .It was born last April 26th.

      I think you be better off cooking it on Sunday. You are putting a alot stress on these process cleaning, dressing, stuffing, then cooking in one day is a lot to do. However it can be done on Saturday if you like.
