Is Christopher Hitchens in heaven?

Well known author and journalist, and a militant atheist, Hitchens has died from cancer. Will he go to heaven?

British writer lived in USA wrote mainly in Vanity Fair. Plenty aboout him on the net.

He was a strong athiest and didn't believe in god or heaven. I"m a secular humanist and agree with most of what he esposed. He didn't go to heaven because it doesn't exist and neither does god, in my opinion. He simply ceased to be.

Heaven? If such a place exists, he'd be sitting at the head table. During his final days, he was asked (on more than one occasion) whether he wanted religious well-wishers to pray for him.

He graciously replied that they were free to do so if THEY believed that prayers would generate a desired response but was sufficiently lucid to know otherwise.

A brilliant thinker who is no longer.
