No. Whatever amount of money I plan on giving my mother, I would put it in a savings account. I would also get my mother help, and hopefully she recovers, so she can enjoy the money I saved for her.

No, I would find a really, really good rehab clinic 4 her and pay 4 this. Then after she successfully completed this I would get her life back on track.

It just seems like it would be such a sticky situation because she'd most likely see you giving money to everyone else except her. Then if she does get help, and you give her the money, it may induce her drinking again. I don't really know where this question came from, a lottery commercial came on and it came to mind. Thanks for the answers :)
