This word translated "love" (or "charity" in some translations and versions of this passage of Scripture) comes from the Greek word agape which is God’s kind of love. To love with His love means to love the same way as God loves, to manifest God's love towards another, whether it is towards God Himself, the Lord Jesus Christ, yourself, your Christian neighbor, or towards anyone else.

Now your next step is understanding God's love which is far different than man's love or what a lot of people think God's love is. God's love is unconditional. That is the first step in understanding 1st corinthians chapter 13 verse 1

charity means the same here as it does everywhere. you give unselfishly without expecting nothing in return. It is more blessed to give than receive. thanks
