Wear a set of ear phones attached to a i pod and drown him out with music.

If you can't kick him out, wear ear-plugs. Believe me, I know the feeling. I don't think talking to him will work, they never get the message.

Take a vacation every year for about 50 weeks!

Is this person a really good friend?  Tell him the truth and tell him you won't respond to repetition. Start repeating back to him what he says......

Oh my - could you actually tell him he's driving you crazy - would you get a word in, people tend to repeat themselves when they have been drinking alcohol but this is something else. It would drive me crazy - listen to these guys - good tips here. Tell him (if you can) politely, you don't learn anything from hearing yourself talk.
