What kind of poision leaves no trace after death?

It was given in a mystery novel a number of years ago, but I can not remember the name of the book or the author?  All I remember is that the author used it to commit the nearly perfect murder in the book.

Bit like the old "Ice bullet" no such thing. Sorry you will have to stick to traditional methods.
By the way a perfect murder is a death NOT deemed to be murder because if it is called "Murder" it is not perfect.

" May I ask what your motive is for asking this question, fear not I can keep a secret." ;)

If u watch Criminal Minds for long enough they will get around to it- but here is a clue....we all have this as a chemical component of our blood.  Too much will kill u.   then again there are always neuro-toxins that such a minute amount can kill u.  Rarely, if ever r they tested for.

sawali - I am not so sure about this.

Are you talking about Carari, which paralyses the victim giving the impression they were dead, of course this was before modern forensics, and it was possible they were buried alive.

Paptou, I gather you have never heard of Carari, it's a paralising drug which the Sth. American indian used on the pionts of thier arrows or darts, brought to Europe in the 1800's, when used in minute amounts acted as an anethetic, too much and you know what happens.

mycatsmom, zombies, vampires, werewolves, etc all come from the same place, a figment of an author's imagination.
