In what market? In the US and Canada, the only stocks worth buying are gold, silver and uranium. A great part of Europe is in deep trouble, the Euro will for all intents and purposes, become a thing of the past (it was doomed from the start), and "it" hasn't even hit the fan in China yet, with the over-extension of real estate loans and speculation. Governments will continue to pump money into the system which will cause a sea of inflation.

it has been empirically proven that no one can time the market (when to go in and when to get out).
The only wise way to invest in the stock market is enter when you have funds that you won't need using for the next 3-5 years. Then the yield is positive in 95% of the cases throughout history.
Attempting to time the market will usually cause you to underperform the above strategy.
