    He got ripped off.It is time and a half for the first two hours of over time IE: $12 per hour BUT after that he is entitled to double time for all time that he worked OVER the two hours.
    Therefore he worked 2 hrs at time and a half and a further 4hrs and 15 minutes at double time.
    He is also entitled to a paid dinner breakof 30 minutes if he works more than 2 hours over time, so you need to add a further 1/2 hour at double time to the rest of his overtime.

    Take that one into your teacher.
