    I have a house phone on but its says no line and no dial tone?

    when my phone got turn on and i bought a new cordless phone, then i charge it..now its saying on my phone says no line and im not getting no dial tone

      Did you plug the phone into the phone jack on the wall? Did you plug the electrical cord into a wall  outlet? Cordless phones have two plugs. Are you sure your phone service has been turned on?
