     Yes, My doctor has me on Metoprolol Tartrate 50MG TAB


    I take one-half tablet, twice a day to slow heart rate, hold for Systolic blood pressure 100or pulse less than 50. At first he had me on a whole tablet, but it lowered it to much, thus, I'd pass out. Be careful when starting new medications such as this.
