    What  I meant with the statement at the end is that we are taught to believe in these myths all our lives. And as parents we a lieing to our children for no good cause.  believing there is a god is similar to believing in santa, etc.

      I think your question is a bit fractured, what are you really asking ?, should God be classed in the same frame as the tooth fairy or santa????
