I think it's a load of crap, An Actress is an actress an actor is an actor, a police women is a police women a policeman is a policeman, my wife is my wife not my partner, my mother in law is a bitch.

I think it is a insult to call a female thespian a actor, it detracts from the fact that it is a professional person in their own right.

Actor catagorises a female as being no better than a man and many are much better.

it only came about because some smart actresses wanted to be EQUAL TO male actors. No matter what lioness will stay as such and forget the equality business.
