    other than Cartesian space are there other geometric space formats?

    Cartesian space is 2 dimentional with just X (theta) and Y (phi) axis directions on that flat Cartesian plane, does having a depth vector at a point on axis X and Y make it other than Cartesian space? thereby becoming a space allready defined by a Greek master?.

    Tags: theta and phi axis are cartesian vectors going in and out at and from a point on an x and y format is not a cartesian possibility?- therefore if so w believe question is geometry wherein am picturing
