    Why are we still after oil when nat.gas is so plentiful?

    perhaps between corporate greed, politicians and the fact that too much machinery runs on ,oil, gas and diesel. i'm no expert but i don't think it's possible to run a 50 ton truck down the high way on natural gas..

    It would open up a cheaper avenue for home heating and all appliances in the home. Even lights. The Amish use gas for lights and the Mennonites use gas to run electrical stuff. We have a ton of natural gas right here, still untapped.

    Because even if we do make a giant move to natural gas its going to be a long time before we can make the conversion.  This is a BIG country......
