how do you take care of your dog after it's been attacked

I have a yorkie who was attacked by another dog (bigger dog)...she's not badly injured, just a cut on her ear. She's not acting like her vibrant self...will she go back to being vibrant. Is there anything I should be doing?

Keep her in quite surrounds,until the shock wears off.Pet her and reassure that she is comfortable,bathe her ear in some diluted peroxide.

Mrs Mends Welcome to the site .... first of all clean that wound and make it does not get infected, the next thing is to keep you little dog quite and warm and make a fuss of her and tell her so for being a good girl ..... but dont show her that you are scared of letting her out as she will pick up every feeling from you be strong for her good luck with your little girl she will get over it soon

I think you should have had a vet check her out , they would most likely have given your little friend anti- biotic and pain killing tablets, then do as pythonlover suggested.
