my battery is fully charged, new alterater, new voltage regulator. I wired the way you have in the diagram, but my battery is not getting charged. I have done most of the test and can not find anything wrong. So what would it be? I am mind boggled

The truck is a 1964 ford 3/4 ton with a 292 motor. It had a generator before.

You should have 14 volts at the alternator. If battery is fully charged what is your question?

that could be someting simple like corrosion on the battery terminals/cables. maybe you need new cables. what about spark plug and wires. did you put gas in it. it could be anything. good luck.
